"Basket of Kisses" Gravel Art Mosaic
Gravel art was at its peak in the 1960s. They were created with a variety of items such as crushed glass and chips of marble, sequins, glitter, beads, acrylic gems, aquarium rocks, or plastic pieces. According to Kymm Bang, Gravel Art 101, images were commonly outlined with cording and then filled in with the “gravels.”
